To start off, let me explain these covers. These are not slip on type seat covers, these are what came in your xterra from the Nissan factory. Most people will want a professional upholsterer to install these for you, unless you are a handy DIYer. They do clip on under the seats like all factory covers but I believe they also need to be "hog ringed" down the inner seams to make them look really tight. This is the only reason why you may need a professional to install them. Or you can pick up the tool and some hog rings for about ten bucks and do it yourself. It's usually about a 4 hour process but that will vary depending on experience.

DESCRIPTION: These are the factory oem seat covers that were removed from a 2006 Nissan Xterra when leather covers were installed in their place. They are in great shape, the only flaw in this whole set seems to be what used to be a small hole that has been sewn and repaired on the drivers front seat, which is around an inch long (see picture). Other than that repair, there are no other rips, tears, or snags of any kind. These have been stored and there are some wrinkles and creases from being folded as you can see in the pictures, but its nothing that wont disappear once they are installed or just sit out flat for a few days. These have been vacuumed but could use a quick run in the washing machine before you install them to really make them look even better, there are some minor areas of dingy/dust/body oils, mainly on the drivers seat and headrest. But there are no permanent stains or spills, and nothing that wouldn't be easily removed with a quick trip in the washing machine. They really are in great shape, especially considering they are 10 years old. I just want to describe these as accurate as possible, but please really take a good look at the pictures, I took one of each seat bottom and back, and then the front seats set and rear seats set together. If you'd like any other pictures, or have any questions let me know.

***For these to fit your Xterra, it must have the front passenger seat that folds flat and also have manual seat controls on both driver and passenger side***

---If you have any questions about these covers or anything else about vehicle fit, please ask, theyll be no returns, so please double check that these will fit your year of Xterra. Thanks

New Kia Magentis / Kia Optima (2011) revealed

Sun, 14 Mar 2010

Kia will reveal the 2011 Magentis/Optima at the New York Motor Show in April Hot on the heels of the sketches we saw of the 2011 Kia Magentis just before the Geneva Motor Show, we now get a photo of Kia’s take on the Hyundai i40 (well, a CGI anyway). Which does seem a long lead time. We know that Kia intend to show the Magentis/Optima at the New York Motor Show next month, but we’re not expecting to see the Magentis in showrooms until 2011.

McLaren 12C Can-Am & Historic McLaren Can-Ams at 2013 Goodwood FoS

Tue, 30 Apr 2013

It seems it was, because by November McLaren revealed the 12C Can Am was going in to limited production – just 30 units at £375,000 each – for deep-pocketed Americans to go track day racing with a 12C that weighs in at 1200kg, gets a few extra horses and 30 per cent more downforce compared to the road going 12C. So with a new track car and a 50th anniversary to celebrate in 2013, McLaren has decided it’s a good idea to take the 12C Can-Am off to play on the Goodwood hillcimb this summer at the 2013 Festival of Speed and, for added interest, take along a selection of models from their heritage collection – the ultimate McLaren racers of the 1960s and 70s – for our delight. McLaren has also given us a teaser video of the M8D Can-Am Racer (below) as a taster of what visitors to this year’s FoS can look forward too, yet another reason to get yourself down to Sussex in July.
