Thu, 02 Jun 2011Skoda is the latest of the VW Group brands to unveil a showcar at the 30th annual Worthersee GTI festival in Reifnitz, Austria. Earlier in the week Audi unveiled their bloodshot-eyed meanie, the A1 Clubsport Quattro concept. Now the value-brand VW makers from Mlada Boleslav have unveiled the Fabia RS 2000.
Hyundai Curb concept
Fri, 07 Jan 2011Hyundai has teased its NAIAS concept, the Curb, ahead of its official unveiling next week, where it will debut alongside a production version of the company's Veloster coupe. The Curb is a compact crossover with a coupe roofline, tapered DLO and exaggerated wheel arches reminiscent of the Nissan Juke, and is similarly difficult to judge in terms of scale from these images. While its exterior appears production feasible, the Curb's interior would seem to live up to its 'concept' billing, with extensive use of smart materials and touchscreen HMI.

Mon, 10 Oct 2011This selection comes from Autoweek Competition Press from January 1963, featuring a lead story on the reveal of Ferrari's at-the-time latest--a 1.5-liter, flat 12-cylinder engine designed for Formula One applications. Its speculated output was 225 hp. Ferrari also pulled the covers off the latest 2+2 touring car, the 330 GT, the successor to the famed 250GT.
