Audi has created a stunning CGI video of the R8 V10 (below) As we’ve said a thousand times before, there is no substitute for actually driving a car. However hard we try at Cars UK to tell you what a car is like, and endless photos to show you every angle and nuance in the design, it’s still a narrow experience. Lexus are teasing a new version of the LF-LC Concept with 4WD and a 500bhp hybrid powertrain for the Australian Motor Show. When Lexus revealed the LF-LC Concept at the Detroit Motor Show at the start of 2012 our collective jaws dropped. It was a stunning two door coupe with the nose from the GS, a profile that had hints of the LFA, a stunning interior and the hope Lexus were brave enough to put it in to production.

New Porsche Panamera GTS takes to the track The new Porsche Panamera GTS is the latest Panamera variant to arrive – the ninth Panamera, no less – and is, as all Porsche GTS models are, a harder-edged take on the more mainstream variants. With its naturally aspirated 4.8 litre V8 producing 425bhp, and pushing those horses through a PDK ‘box to all four wheels, the Panamera can scoot to 62mph in a very respectable 4.5 seconds on its way to a top speed of 179mph. Not bad for a big saloon car that eschews forced induction and can carry proper-sized passengers in comfort.
