This auction is for qty (1) Nitrous Express Boost Reference Progressive Nitrous Controller NXD5000.  It was purchased back in 2011 and used for only 2 race weekends as part of a standalone nitrous system.  It worked great!  The bike it was used on sat I my garage for the last 5 years until I recently restored it for street use.  I removed the NXD5000 and the rest of the nitrous system (see other auctions) and offer it for sale here.

Overview
The BOOST REFERENCE PROGRESSIVE NITROUS CONTROLLER combines the functions of a throttle position switch, two RPM window switches, a MAP sensor and a 2 stage progressive driver all
into a very compact module. It can progressively drive two channels, each with a 40 amp load capacity (continuous duty). The device also supports low-voltage OEM, V10 or 3 cylinder TACH
signals without the need for additional adapters. It works with most OEM throttle position sensors including most drive-by-wire vehicles. This device also includes NX's "real curve" ramp,
which allows you to create a progressive curve instead of just a ramp. The ramp can be either time based or Boost based. All this and it’s only the size of a spark plug box.

For its most basic functionality, the Boost Reference Controller reads boost pressure from the intake manifold of your turbo or supercharged engine.  Using the Nitrous Express software, which you can download from their website, you create a map of boost pressure in PSI vs percent of duty cycle you want at the solenoid valves.  The controller operates  both your nitrous and fuel solenoids by cycling them anywhere from 0-100% duty cycle.  So you can spray 25% of your nitrous/fuel charge initially, 50% at low boost pressures, and ramp it up to 100% of your nitrous charge at max boost.  Provides for a smooth increase in horsepower rather than an abrupt 100% hit.  Or you can increase the duty cycle at lower boost to get your turbo to spool up quicker.

Easy to hook up. Download instructions from Nitrous Express website:  http://www.nitrousexpress.com/oldwebdocs/instructions/nxboostref_a.pdf

This item currently sells for $381 on Amazon.  My starting price is less than half of that at $185
