Hyundai sets prices on 2013 Santa Fe Sport

Hyundai has set sticker prices on the five-seat version of its redesigned crossover, the 2013 Santa Fe Sport. A base front-wheel-drive model with the 190-hp, 2.4-liter four-cylinder stickers at $25,275, including the $825 destination charge. The Santa Fe Sport crossover was introduced at the 2012 New York auto show.

Porsche are planning a 2 door Panamera Convertible That new Porsche 928 now looks an even more likely possibility after Automotive News reported that Porsche are looking to make a convertible Panamera. But it won’t be a four door convertible, but a two door. The report says that is to help with rigidity (we buy that) and to keep weight down (yeah, just like they have on the saloon), but what it does mean is that Porsche could easily engineer a fixed-roof, shortened Panamera to create a high-end GT in the style of the 928.

Brake issue prompts recall of BMW and Rolls-Royce vehicles

BMW is recalling about 198,000 cars with V8 and V12 engines to fix a problem with the brake system. The automaker said a potential leak in the brake system could cause a loss of vacuum, which would reduce the power braking assistance. BMW said the mechanical brakes will stop the vehicle even if there is a vacuum leak.
