Sergio bows at Pininfarina Tribute Rally

Pininfarina showed its Sergio barchetta concept at an event in the UK last week where the main aim was to set a record for the largest number of Pininfarina cars gathered in a single location. The Car Design News - Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design Competition has entered its final two weeks, but it's still not too late to submit an entry and impress the judges with your vision of a Lounge in Motion. The project uploads so far - on the dedicated competition site - are full of fantastic mood boards and thematic directions and generally contain some great ideas. Judges, industry professionals, design students and members of the public have been commenting and directing those who have uploaded work to date.

Suzuki Q concept

The second of Suzuki's concept trio is the Q, whch is designed for the inner-city commuter. The highly stylized all-electric quadracycle is powered by an electric motor and battery pack, the Q has a range of 50km and a top speed of just 37mph. The Q is aimed at those with a short commute, described as being "ideal for everyday journeys within a radius of about six miles" and, as such, is pitched as a comfortable commuting tool.
