Jaguar prices 75th-anniversary XKR

Jaguar is celebrating its 75th anniversary with a limited-edition XKR that will sticker for $104,500, including destination. It's called the 2011 XKR175 Anniversary Coupe, and as the name implies, it's a nod to the brand's landmark birthday. The Jag was shown at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

The annual Consumer Electronics Show kicks off tomorrow in Las Vegas, in the same massive convention center that held the SEMA show only a few months ago. Ford prototype seat measures your heart rate

Ford continues its foray into health and wellness with a car that can monitor the driver's heart activity. Research engineers in Germany have developed a prototype seat with six sensors that can monitor the heart's electric impulses through clothes and give an early warning as to whether a driver should seek medical attention because of irregularities. Drivers who have cardiovascular disease are 23 percent more likely to be involved in a car accident.
