Up for Buy-It-Now is a new old replacement stock clutch throw out bearing assembly, Hoover part number 1147. This item was obtained from an old service garage and is not a newly remanufactured item. According to my vintage bearing manuals, this is used on the following models and years:
Oldsmobile....All 1940, 1941, 1942, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949
Oldsmobile "76" 6 cylinder....1950
The assembly is in brand new, never used condition and is free of any damage. The bearing itself is heavily greased, spins and functions properly. There are a few spots of very minor surface rust on the bottom of the bearing from many years of shelf storage. May or may not need a light polishing up before installation. Cast on the piece is 1147. Please note...I will be disassembling the box so that this piece fits in a Small Flat Rate Priority box and ships much more economically.

Guinness returns fastest production car world record to Bugatti
Wed, 17 Apr 2013The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is back as the “Fastest Production Car” after Guinness World Records looked deeper into the claim, and decided that Bugatti's eliminating the speed limiter in order to set a record did not bar the vehicle from holding the title. “The focus of the review was with respect to what may constitute a modification to a car's standard specification,” said Guinness in a statement. “Having evaluated all the necessary information, Guinness World Records is now satisfied that a change to the speed limiter does not alter the fundamental design of the car or its engine.” Now the company owns both the open- and closed-top speed records with the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse and the Veyron Super Sport.

It's the third generation of the Korean firm's mid-size SUV, and first impressions are that it conforms to the inexorable trend towards crossover aesthetics shown by both the Sorento itself - which has transitioned from utility-focused body-on-frame SUV to its latest car-like form - and its rivals. The Sorento gains 95mm in length, taking it to 4,780mm, with 80mm of that increase being the wheelbase, which now measures 2,780mm.
