Nors King Pin Bolt King Pin Set Ford Truck 1935 1936 1937 Model 51 on 2040-parts.com

This is a NORS King Pin set for 35 36 37 Ford Model 51 trucks. According to an old Ford Parts Book, these trucks were listed as having 131-1/2 and 157 inch wheelbase. However, it shows the Model 51 was only built in 1935 and 1936. Model 75- 60 HP and Model 79- 85 HP were built in 1937.

However, Years 35-36-37 are marked on the box, and the old Ford Catalog does not show any king pins for 37. So the chassis may have been the same. If your need is for a 37, you be the Judge if you can use these. This kit must cover trucks in the 3/4 ton to light 1 ton range.

The Ford parts catalog shows a commercial truck the same 112 inch wheelbase as a car, that must be half ton. Ford parts book shows this set and other king pins for Model 56 Commercial Trucks, which I would take to mean larger size trucks for these years.

These replace Ford parts number 51-3111. The kit is for both sides and includes, pins, bushings, thrust bearings, bolts, washers, etc, everything to do a king pin job. This kit is not an offshore manufactured item, it has been around for about 60 to 70 years. The parts may have some surface rust, however, it does not hurt the quality of the parts.
