Redesigned Cadillac CTS to debut at New York auto show

Cadillac will debut the redesigned CTS sedan at the New York auto show in late March and put the car on sale this fall. The redesigned Escalade SUV is set to arrive in early 2014. The brand is targeting a retail sales jump of about 35 percent this year, General Motors executives told dealers Sunday at the National Automobile Dealers Association convention in Orlando, Fla.

University of Huddersfield Degree Show 2008

Destinations, the graduate show of the Transport Design degree course at the University of Huddersfield, showed projects created by graduating students earlier this summer as part of the School of Art and Design's Graduate Show week, and also at the New Designers exhibition held in London's Business Design Centre. While a significant proportion of the course is orientated towards automotive exterior and interior design, projects also allow for a wider interpretation of transport design including boats, public transport, trucks and motorcycles as well as more conceptual approaches towards transport issues of the future. This year's graduates investigated a large range of themes and produced a variety of design solutions.

General Motors says its EN-V concept might be tested in large cities

General Motors is working on a second generation of its EN-V electric-car concept and might test the two-seat, pod-shaped vehicle in large cities around the world. The EN-V will wear the Chevrolet badge. It is designed to communicate with other vehicle and city infrastructure to minimize congestion.
