Very rare warehouse find.

BRAND NEW OLD STOCK - NEVER INSTALLED
VINTAGE NOS  1970's  1"  Z Bar Handlebars - NOT REPOPS!  These are the genuine original.
These are new but do have shelf wear from 30+ years in the warehouse, good for a daily rider but not for the perfectionist ( you know who you are ).

These bars are 1" diameter, measure 28" Tip to Tip, 4" tall, and 10" wide at mounting points and have NO pullback ( they are straight across ).
Very cool period bar for your Harley or custom bobber. Would go great with your peanut gas tank, bates solo seat and rigid frame.
Would even look good with a springer front fork. These will also fit anything with 1" mounts.
THESE ARE NOT DIMPLED OR RECESSED FOR CABLES!!!!

Peugeot 508 Spied

Sun, 27 Jun 2010

The Peugeot 508 caught in Madrid We first reported that Peugeot were planning on dumping the 407 and 607 and replacing them with a car pitched somewhere in between – the Peugeot 508 – back in November. Which makes sense. The big French cars never sell anywhere other than France and the 407 needs to go a bit more upmarket to keep up with the competition.

Our friend Murilee Martin is here to oil up the gates to Automotive Hades, bringing the series back with a couple of you'd-hafta-be-outta-your-mind hypothetical engine-swap projects. And be sure to check back for fresh installments of Project Car Hell every week.

Toyota and Mercedes-Benz are top global car brands

Sun, 23 Oct 2011

Toyota & Mercedes-Benz are the Top Global Automotive Brands 2011 Interbrand, a branding consultancy, delivers a report on the world’s brands every year, and in 2011, despite recall woes and the devastation of the Japanese Tsunami, Toyota leads the automotive brands, with luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz just behind. Interbrand uses three measures to gauge how effective a brand is – performance of branded product, the brands ability to secure earnings and the role of the brand in purchasing decisions – to come up with a chart of the top 100 world brands. At the top of the tree are companies like Coca Cola, IBM, Microsoft and Google, but car brands do well with Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Honda, VW, and Ford all making it in to the top 50.
