These DOT-approved nitrous bottles from NOS are available in a variety of sizes and finishes to be sure to suit your needs. The bottles come with a high flow valve and for extra safety, they designed an exclusive blow-off venting system into the bottle valve. If your bottle is overfilled or if the pressure increases beyond the maximum safety level, the vent opens and discharges the nitrous.

Caterham news at 2009 Tokyo motor show

Caterham surprised Tokyo with the announcement that it will build its first electric sports car. The battery bullet will be either a full electric car or a hybrid and it'll be campaigned in a one-make series in 2011. 'It'll either be a bought-in full electric power pack or we'll buy in an electric hybrid pack and attach it to an existing Caterham engine,' Caterham CEO Ansar Ali told CAR.

The Subaru Stella Plug-in EV goes on sale in Japan today Not designed to be anything other than a city car, the Subaru Stella has a range of around 55 miles on a full charge of its Li-ion batteries, which can be charged in about five hours from a standard socket (or in 15 minutes from a quick-charge outlet), and a has top speed of 62mph – so it really is a city-only car. Based on Subaru’s existing Stella mini-car the Stella EV is powered by a 60bhp (47kw) electric motor that delivers 125lb/ft of torque from the off. It also incorporates a regeneration system that tops up the batteries during deceleration to help the range.
