This is a new old stock, never mounted, original OEM genuine Mopar part. It is for the dash of the Chrysler Windsor, and I think they were used on the 1939. 1940, and 1941 and 1942, and maybe even on the 1946, 1947, 1948. Stunning condition for that show quality 100 point restoration. A very rare embelm to find in New Old Stock.

Aston Martin's race plans

The DBR9 will return to the famous La Sarthe circuit in June. Perhaps this was inevitable, since Aston’s new non-executive chairman is David Richards - the chairman of Prodrive, which develops the DBR9 and its FIA GT3-spec sister car, the DBRS9.
Volkswagen to reveal new electric car concept
Tue, 23 Aug 2011Volkswagen is due to reveal a one-seat electric car concept in early September as the manufacturer explores its greener future. Part of the on-going project to cut its average fleet emissions Volkswagen has designed the concept vehicle for limited journeys, with the vehicle due to be unveiled on September 8 in Berlin. There's no word yet as to whether it will appear at the Frankfurt motor show just a few days later, but we'd be surprised not to see it there.

But that hasn’t stopped production for cars being prepared for the UK and Europe launch from being delayed by the floods in Thailand. It’s an indication of how, despite car makers’ efforts to use a local supply chain, car manufacturing is far more dependent on a world-wide supply chain than we probably realise.
