New Old Stock Silvertone AM radio for use in 1940 - 1950s six-volt applications. In original box. Silvertone manufactured this radio for Sears in 1949 – shipping card is dated May 10, 1949. Beautiful face plate and dial face with translucent burgundy knobs. Chassis has beautiful original burgundy finish. Model number 528.6293-1A with speaker built into the unit. Serial number A530738. V6s now trump V8s in Ford F-150
Mon, 25 Jul 2011For the first time since 1985, Ford Motor Co.'s F-150 pickups equipped with V6 engines are outselling those with V8 engines. And Ford is struggling to keep up with demand for the V6s. Dealers are clamoring for Ford to ramp up production of the 3.5-liter direct-injection turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engine because of its popularity.
Flavio Manzoni to Head Ferrari Design
Tue, 29 Sep 2009Flavio Manzoni, Head of Creative Design at the Volkswagen Group, is set to take on a new role as Chief of Design at Ferrari starting January 1, 2010. Manzoni, currently part of the design team headed up by Walter de'Silva, will be based at Centro Stile Ferrari and charged with creating a new brand identity for the Italian marque. He will report directly to Managing Director Amedeo Felisa.

The polar opposite Kizashi concepts from the brand take in an eco-minded approach as well as a hardcore turbocharged, race inspired model. The Ecocharge adopts the necessary virginal white hue, blue lighting and smaller diameter wheels to cement the fact it is environmentally friendly.
