NOS 1950's 1960's Ford Lincoln Mercury Truck Van Engine Oil Filler Cap UNKNOWN?

This listing is for a NOS oil fill cap for an UNKNOWN application. Out of a closed dealership, this is loose shelf stock and without part number or package. Look to be 1950's/1960's and maybe 1970's if for a truck. Use pictures for best description and to identify. Cap has "ENGINE OIL FILLER" on the top. Light oxidation from moisture wicking with a moderate spot on top. Rubber gasket. If you're looking for an original, here it is. CHEAP to your door. Go ORIGINAL Ford!! If you need a replacement or an extra, here it is.

Please keep in mind that while these are NOS parts manufactured by or for Ford, there may be something that is unforeseen in quality or present due to storage, such as discoloration, shelf and box rubs, light scuffing, residues, etc. Most of these parts have been sitting on a dealership shelf and are between 20 and 50 years old. I don't sell junk, broken, or obviously unusable parts. Those are for the trash. If a part is missing, or needs some attention due to chrome spotting, shelf grime, or surface rust, I will note it. These items are often one of a kind and obsolete from Ford. As such, all items are sold as is. Also, it's hard for me to visualize where on a car or truck each and every part may go since I list thousands of different parts from 1932 grill trim to the seat back bushings on a 1992 F-250. The buyer will have to rely on either shop experience, knowledge of their car or truck, and a visual comparison with the photo(s) in conjunction with what I have described, to make a determination as to exact fit or application as it pertains to their vehicle.

MOTORISTS have been urged to be on the look-out for criminals staging crashes with their vehicles to make money out of insurance claims. Experts said Bradford and Birmingham were the most likely places for innocent drivers to be caught up in "Crash for Cash" scams but Bolton, Manchester, London, Liverpool and Halifax are also hotspots, and staged accidents can happen anywhere and any time. The Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB) and Crimestoppers appealed for information on those making bogus claims, in a crime that collectively costs policyholders more than £390 million every year.

VL This is the new face of the Fisker Karma, the luxury plug-in hybrid whose parent company went to the wall last year. But it’s not only the Karma’s gap-toothed grin that’s disappeared: its plug-in hybrid powertrain has bitten the dust, too, replaced by a GM-sourced V8 – a supercharged lump boasting 638hp and 640lb ft. Called the VL Destino, the wilder Karma will be shown at this month’s North American International Auto Show, aka the Detroit Motor Show.
