NOS 1958 65 Ford F100 F250 F350 B-F500/750 Truck Bus Hood to Fender Bumper (8)

This listing is for a package of eight (8) NOS rubber hood top to fender (or grille) bumpers for the 1958 1959 1960 1961 1962 1963 1964 and 1965 F100 F250 F350 B-F500/700 trucks and buses and 1961 through 1965 B-F750 truck and bus. Part number C1TB-16758-B. These are oblong and measure 1.12" long x .86" high. Book states to "cut off 1/8" of bumper head for 1961/1962 models". There are 6 of these required per truck, here is a full set plus a couple extras! These are in excellent shape and are nice and soft and the preservative worked well (white powder is rubber preservative). Perfect set of factory rubber bumpers to replace those dry, cracked, and missing pieces! Go ORIGINAL Ford!! If you need a replacement or an extra, here it is.

I don't sell junk, broken, or obviously unusable parts. Those are for the trash. If a part is missing, or needs some attention due to chrome spotting, shelf grime, or surface rust, I will note it. These items are often one of a kind and obsolete from Ford. As such, all items are sold as is. Also, it's hard for me to visualize where on a car or truck each and every part may go since I list thousands of different parts from 1932 grill trim to the seat back bushings on a 1992 F-250. The buyer will have to rely on either shop experience, knowledge of their car or truck, and a visual comparison with the photo(s) in conjunction with what I have described, to make a determination as to exact fit or application as it pertains to their vehicle.

Chris Bangle Associates has announced a new design contest called 'Illustrate the Future.' The competition is open to all design students across all design disciplines and coincides with the launch of Managing Director, Chris Bangle's new book. "I have written a fiction book about Car Design and the prologue takes place 25 years in the future," says Bangle. "It contains some concepts I have been working on, and this contest is to see what YOU would make of them." Bangle's novel explores the state of affairs in the car design field and also expresses his concerns about the culture future generations of designers will inherit.

VW to announce Italdesign takeover on Tuesday

Volkswagen will announce Tuesday that it will take a 90 percent stake in Italdesign Giugiaro S.p.A, people familiar with the matter told Automotive News Europe. The Giugiaro family will retain 10 percent in the Italian design house that is famous for styling cars such as the first-generation VW Golf. VW plans to acquire control of Italdesign to help reach its goal of becoming the world's largest automaker by 2018 with sales of 10 million vehicles a year.

Nismo enters a new era

Nissan made Nismo its exclusive performance car and motorsports brand at its new global headquarters in Yokohama, Japan. CEO Carlos Ghosn declared the building open at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday. Even though Nismo has been tuning cars for Nissan for almost 50 years, its first true production car didn't hit the streets until the Nissan Skyline 2000GT.
