Up for sale is a new old stock starter drive that fits 1962-1964 Fairlane 221-260 and 1963-1964 Falcon and fullsize cars with a 221-260. Has 9 teeth. Original Ford and super nice. C2OZ-11350-B Please read before bidding... All of the reproduction parts I sell are 1st quality and I DO NOT deal with 2nds or blemished parts. New old stock parts are described to the very best of my ability and if there are any flaws they will be pointed out in the description and most times in the pictures. Third annual World Automotive Design Competition
Wed, 10 Mar 2004The third annual World Automotive Design Competition, sponsored by Alias, was hosted by the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, Ontario, on February 12. Britain's Coventry School of Art and Design, and Tsinghua University in Beijing, China were the big winners, together garnering seven of the eight prizes. Ninety-four students from twenty design schools from China, Brazil, Japan, France, Korea, England, Wales, Italy, Spain, India, Sweden, the USA and Canada competed to win over US$140,000 in prizes.
Nissan Qazana (2010) caught testing
Mon, 14 Dec 2009The Nissan Qazana shot testing - complete with what looks like bin-bag disguise I know, it’s not the easiest thing to work out from the picture above, but this is Nissan’s sub Qashqai Crossover – the Nissan Qazana – caught out testing recently. Which goes to show that the Qazana is well on track for amid 2010 launch and production at Nissan’s Sunderland plant. The Qazana – when it debuted at Geneva this year – was a daring concept, to say the least.
Hyundai makes Kia’s Peter Schreyer Hyundai design guru too
Sun, 13 Jan 2013The newly appointed Kia President, Peter Schreyer, has now been made Hyundai President in charge of design too. Peter Schreyer’s success in making Kia a real design force led to him being appointed a Kia President at the end of 2012, handsome reward for the changes he’s wrought at Kia since leaving VW, turning Kia’s range of cars from stodgy to convincing in a few short years. But Kia is the junior partner in the Hyundai-Kia business, so Hyundai are obviously not totally thrilled that Kia managed to snaffle a designer who’s eye manages to so convincingly hit the Zeitgeist firmly on the head.
