Who killed Pontiac? Ask Bob Lutz
Mon, 28 Oct 2013Bob Lutz is not a man who can be contained within 140 characters. This past weekend he spoke at the Petersen as part of the Inside the MotoMan Studio series, hosted by friend of Autoweek George Notaras (past events have been with Ralph Gilles and Derek Jenkins). Maserati new model rollout confirmed
Fri, 28 Dec 2012Maserati has revealed its plans for a new model rollout over the next few years as it targets 50,000 annual sales. It seems Fiat’s plans for Maserati, and their aim to sell 50,000 cars a year by 2015, is on target with the latest infographic from Fiat clearly showing which Maserati models are planned. The first car on Maserati’s list is the one we’ve already seen – the 2013 Maserati Quattroporte – which had a reveal recently and will get its public debut at the Detroit Auto Show next month.
Cheap mods: Adventures In Aspect Ratios
Fri, 16 May 2014Seven years ago, I bought a rough-looking-but-good-running 1992 Honda Civic DX hatchback, for use as a gas-sipping alternative to my daily-driver P71 Crown Victoria. These days, it's the car I drive when it snows in Denver, and it's a reliable all-around beater. The EG Civic (as the 1992-95 Civic hatchback was designated by the factory) has become a much-sought-after classic in recent years, sort of the '55 Chevy of the early 21st century, and there's such a vast array of factory and aftermarket performance hardware available that I haven't been able to resist the idea of doing some power and suspension upgrades.
