Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster (2009): first official pictures
Fri, 03 Jul 2009By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 03 July 2009 16:30 Pagani has unveiled a roadster version of its most radical road-legal Zonda ever, the Cinque. Just five Cinque Roadsters will be made, and with no roof, a 669bhp V12 engine, and a price tag broaching £1.1m (plus taxes) it's pretty special. Think again - and if Horacio Pagani wants to build 5 more gorgeous Cinques, this time without a roof so you can really hear that 7.3-litre V12 wail, then who are we to argue. There's a longer front spoiler, a flat undertray and diffuser, plus a new rear wing, all of which is enough to create the same 750kg of downforce at 186mph that Pagani claims for the coupe version.
Bentley Continental GT3 Road Car? Probably not
Fri, 05 Oct 2012Despite reports to the contrary, it seems highly unlikely that Bentley will produce a road going version of the Continental GT3. The Continental GT3 is just a concept at the moment - although it will become a proper track car – but it has already had Autocar gazing in to its crystal ball to suggest that Bentley will be building a GT3 for the road, with a 700bhp W12 and 4WD, and will sell it in limited numbers. But that doesn’t add up to us.
Think you can talk and drive? Not so much…
Tue, 09 Apr 2013It has been well documented that texting while driving is a risky practice that results in thousands of motor-vehicle deaths each year. But talking rather than texting isn't really a better alternative, according to experts at the National Safety Council. The council is hoping to better explain why driving and talking on a cell phone is so dangerous by examining how the brain works when faced with multiple cognitive tasks.
