NOS, or new old stock does not mean the part is mint or even perfect! General Motor Company has always been in the business of building mass produced vehicles and parts, NOT show cars. When we describe something as being NOS that means it is new and has never been installed on a car. Any flaws are mentioned and most times even pictured in the description so there should be no surprises. We try our best to accurately describe the parts we sell but we can and do make mistakes just like everyone else. If you have ANY doubts about the condition or application of the item being sold then please ask questions before bidding!!!

Exchanges or refunds will ONLY be given for misrepresented or inaccurately described items! Stated shipping charges are to the U.S. 48 states only..

Aftermarket Car Plug-In Hybrid system developed (video)

Sun, 05 Aug 2012

The Department of Engineering Technology at the Middle Tennessee State University has developed a plug-in hybrid retro-fit system for cars. Now, the Department of Engineering Technology at the Middle Tennessee State University has popped up with what they claim is an after market plug-in hybrid system that can be added to just about any car and would cost – assuming it gets to market – around £2,000.

BMW's new 5-series next for hybrid power

Wed, 28 Oct 2009

The new BMW 5-series being launched this winter is likely to be the next BMW to receive the ActiveHybrid system pioneered on the petrol-electric 7-series and X6 models. BMW engineers admit they can't rely on sales of the pricey hybrid 7-series and X6 to justify the development costs, even though these range-topping halo hybrids were jointly developed with Daimler and GM. Senior sources have indicated that the new 2010 5-series will be the next BMW to get an ActiveHybrid model.
