As we can see from the new photo, the XFR-S model will get an even more aggressive bodykit than the standard XFR, as well as carbonfibre elements up front. During the Detroit auto show in January, Fiat and Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne told us -- in his own irreverent way -- that arrival of the long-promised Alfa Romeo 4C would be delayed once again. But as these spy photos show, testing on the sporty coupe continues even as a debut date remains elusive. This isn't the first time we've caught the 4C testing in the States.

In Fall 2010, before the Volt went on sale in North America, we sampled an early build model and came away so impressed, we declared it the car for the digital age. Since then the car has received harsh criticism from the press and been outsold by the Nissan Leaf in the North American market. Given the unique powertrain, we felt longer exposure to the Volt was therefore in order, so on a recent trip to Michigan, we lived with one for five days.
