Up for auction is a NOS hood for a 1965-1966 Mustang. It is brand new original Ford and in very nice condition. It has one very minor ding as pictured (5th photo) and outside of that is has some overspray on it from being near something else that was getting worked on. The last photo shows where one of the foam pieces is loose and needs to be glued prior to painting. It has the one interior date stamping as pictured. Part number C5ZZ-16612-B. This item can be picked up or it will be sent freight collect, meaning the buyer will pay the actual freight charges to the shipper at the time of delivery. Henrik Fisker leaves his eponymous company
Thu, 14 Mar 2013Henrik Fisker, co-founder of Fisker Automotive, has resigned from the company as Fisker seeks funding to move forward. But Henrik Fisker managed to convince the car world his Fisker Karma was credible, even if its gestation has been plagued by problems, the latest of which has been the demise of its battery supplier – A123 Systems – and the wrecking of a dock full of seemingly uninsured Karmas by Hurricane Sandy. The current problems at Fisker has seen them seeking a new investor, with two Chinese companies – Geely and Dohnfeng – vying to take a majority stake in Fisker Automotive and help Fisker recover sales of the Karma and move on with Project Nina, the smaller Fisker Atlantic.
Dacia ‘Twingo’ planned as sub £5,000 entry-level Dacia
Fri, 14 Mar 2014The current Ranault Twingo (pictured) looks set to live on as the new Dacia Twingo The new Renault Twingo – which shares its underpinnings with the next Smart – arrived at the Geneva Motor Show last week, and it looks an appealing and impressive city runaround. With 3-cylinder engines, rear wheel drive and decent looks, the Twingo looks to have a decent chance of making sensible sales this side of the Channel as the budget alternative to the next Smart Car, which will be basically the same under the skin. But those plans may go a bit awry if a report from Auto Bild is accurate, as Dacia appear to be preparing to take the current Twingo and turn it in to a budget offering for the Dacia range.
