Aston Martin Rapide at 2009 Frankfurt motor show
Tue, 15 Sep 2009By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 15 September 2009 11:30 Nearly three years after Aston Martin unveiled the concept car, the production version of the elegant Rapide saloon has been revealed at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show. It’s Aston Martin’s first four-door car and will cost around £150,000 when sales start in early 2010. No, because Aston Martin admits the rear seats are only suitable for children, or adults on shorter journeys.
Porsche Panamera Shooting Brake Estate Concept at Paris?
Fri, 27 Jul 2012It looks like Porsche will be showing a concept estate version of the Panamera at Paris – perhaps the Porsche Panamera Shooting Brake? The rumours that Porsche are preparing an estate version of the Panamera for the Paris Motor Show in September are gathering pace, and it now seems almost certain there will be a Panamera Shooting Brake Concept to upset Porsche purists when the Paris Motor Show opens on 27th September. Although the Panamera Estate Concept is highly probable, it seems likely any production car is some way off – probably 2015 at the earliest – before which we’ll see the Panamera get a facelift (which could arrive at Paris too) and even a Panamera Coupe and convertible on a shortened wheelbase.
New Ford Fiesta Automatic
Mon, 15 Jun 2009The Ford Fiesta now gets an automatic option Of course, this is not just about catering for the small numbers of Europeans who can’t use their left foot. It is probably about catering for the huge number of Americans who won’t. As we’ve reported, Ford is on a big push to get America to love the new Ford Fiesta, and without an auto option on offer they will be restricting their sales numbers.
