BMW 4 Series: The new 3 Series Coupe arrives

It may be a concept as far as the real extremes are concerned – the butch bumpers, big air intakes and extreme wheels – but in every other way the 4 Series Concept is the production 4 Series we’ll get later in 2014. GM, Chrysler get cold shoulder from consumers, report says

In a classic case of: "It's not me--it's you," fewer consumers are considering the two Detroit automakers in the wake of their pleas for government assistance and bankruptcy rumors. The share of buyers who would make a GM car their primary choice fell 12 percent, and the share of Chrysler intenders dropped by one third, according to a study released Thursday by CNW Research of Bandon, Ore.
Mercedes-Benz has big plans for small cars
Mon, 31 Jan 2011Breaking outside its American position of rear-wheel-drive luxury vehicles, Mercedes-Benz will launch its new front-wheel-drive architecture in the United States in the next three years in the form of a coupe, SUV and possibly a small wagon or compact hatchback. Joachim Schmidt, Mercedes' global sales and marketing boss, said Mercedes is developing at least four models based on its MFA, or Mercedes Front-wheel-drive Architecture. "We will introduce the next generation of our MFA family to the U.S.," Schmidt said in an interview.
