This is an NOS original Rochester (Division of GM) Diverter Valve.  I'm not sure of the correct application of this part number, but this is the diverter valve that replicates the $1500. ones that others sell for the 68 and 69 427 Corvettes, Camaros, and other BB Chevrolets.  I've seen different sellers claiming the "correct" numbers,  but each having different numbers.  The only number that is readable when bolted on the car is the number on the top of the tube which is 7034475.  This is the same as their  high dollar "correct" ones. This valve  appears exactly the same as theirs when mounted on the engine.   The ink stamping on the bottom is easily changed, and there are sellers here on Ebay with the stamps. .  I have this same valve on my 68 L89 Corvette.  Nobody has ever questioned the numbers.  The small number on the bottom of the flange (the "incorrect number") is 24762.  I am selling this at No Reserve, with  Free Shipping.

Six questions for the creator of Gran Turismo

Wed, 03 Jun 2009

When you are granted an audience with Kazunori Yamauchi, godfather of Gran Turismo, you take it. We spoke with his excellency in a suite overlooking downtown Los Angeles, where traffic on the twisted freeways below looked nothing at all like the thrilling tracks of that iconic game. AW: When did you make the first Gran Turismo?

2014 (or is it 2015?) Ford Mondeo to launch in UK & Europe late 2014

Fri, 31 Jan 2014

The new Ford Mondeo will now arrive in the UK in late 2014 The story of the new Ford Mondeo for the UK Europe (which should have been the 2013 Mondeo but will end up as the 2014 or 2015 Mondeo) has been a bit tortuous. Despite the new Mondeo being on sale in the US as the Ford Fusion since summer 2012, and in China since summer 2013 (and the reveal of the production version of the Mondeo over two years ago and a set of new Mondeo photos too), Ford’s decision to shut up shop at Genk in Belgium – the Mondeo’s traditional manufacturing plant – meant there was no way to give Europe the new Mondeo. So we’ve had to wait for Ford to sort out production lines in Valencia to build the new Mondeo but now, according to Mark Ovenden – Ford’s UK boss – the new Mondeo will arrive in the third quarter of 2014 in the UK and Europe.
