Peugeot 308 RCZ concept
Tue, 31 Jul 2007These are the first pictures of the Peugeot 308 RCZ concept car, scheduled to make an appearance at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. Based on the forthcoming 308, the 308 RCZ is a 2+2 coupe - in the same ilk as Audi's TT. The construction focuses on lightweight, employing aluminum in the roll over protection bars, a polycarbonate rear windscreen and carbon fiber body panels. Design details of the dramatic concept include pronounced wheel-arches that blend seamlessly with the aggressive front fascia and a stepped beltline. The large offset between the door and rocker panel emphasizes the purposeful, sporting stance.
Four Daihatsu concepts for Tokyo 2013 debut
Mon, 04 Nov 2013If you thought the old Daihatsu Copen roadster was a bit feminine for a ‘sports’ car, you’ll be pleased with this: Daihatsu’s new, butched-up, small two-seater roadster, the 2014 RMZ Kopen concept. The aggressive-looking mini cabriolet will make its world debut at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show later this month alongside another, rather interesting version of Daihatsu’s didi prototype – the off-road-inspired XMZ Kopen concept. Nissan EV (2010) teaser shot released
Tue, 28 Jul 2009Nissan EV (2010) By Alex Michaelides First Official Pictures 28 July 2009 11:07 Nissan has let slip this teaser shot of its new, unnamed electric vehicle. The image reveals little about the EV, but we expect the five-seat battery-powered car to have Ford Focus-like dimensions, thanks to its compact motor. We can also decipher that the badge hides a charging socket at the front – a neat solution that’ll make the EV easy to charge in right- and left-hand drive markets. The introduction of Nissan’s EV comes just a week after the Japanese company unveiled plans to produce battery packs at its Sunderland plant.
