THIS NOS CAP HAS NEVER BEEN MOUNTED, AND COMES NEW IN THE STANT BOX. THIS CAP HAS THE SMC LOGO, THE S RIVET, AND ITS ORIGANAL GASKET.  A TRUE NOS CAP NOT A RESTORED PIECE WITHOUT A BOX. THIS CAP WAS USED ON MANY CHEVY MODELS STARTING IN 1964 ON THE CHEVELLE, OF COURSE THIS WAS USED ON THE 1969 CAMARO. THIS CAP FOUND ITS WAY ON TO THE 1967-70 PONTIAC FIREBIRD AND THE 1965-69 GTO. THIS WAS THE CAP FOR ALL MODELS IN 1970 WITHOUT E.E.C. OR E.E.S.. A LIST OF APPLICATIONS IS BELOW. THIS IS 100% ASSEMBLY LINE CORRECT AND WILL HELP TO ENSURE PROPER FIT AND FINISH. THIS CAP IS FAR SUPERIOR TO CURRENT REPRODUCTIONS AND IS OF COURSE BETTER THAN AN OVER RESTORED CAP IN EVERY WAY. THIS PIECE IS IN GREAT SHAPE, HAS SOME TARNISH NO RUST, AND IS THAT FINISHING TOUCH FOR ANY RESTORATION.

New Volkswagen Golf Plus BlueMotion Introduced

Volkswagen has introduced the new VW Golf Plus BlueMotion The new VW Golf Plus Bluemotion is basically a Golf Plus with the standard BlueMotion tricks added to improve economy and emissions. These include low rolling resistance tyres, revised gear ratios, start-stop and regenerative braking – the usual box of tricks. The 1.6 litre common rail diesel engine in the Golf Plus BlueMotion – down from 1.9 litres in the old Golf Plus BlueMotion – manages 65.7 mpg and emissions of 114g/km, an improvement of 11% in economy and 10% in emissions.

Aston Martin CC100 open 2 seater on the way

Aston Martin has revealed it is to build a limited run of two exclusive CC100 Roadsters to celebrate its centenary year. Aston Martin’s last ‘Limited Edition’ was the £1 million plus One-77 which helped Aston put some much needed funds in their bank account. The One-77 was a custom made car with a custom made price but now, with Aston Martin celebrating its centenary year this year, they’re about to build a new concept car – the Aston Martin CC100 – that’s based on the V12 Vantage but with an open roadster body.

US artist David Macaluso has painted a portrait of Lewis Hamilton using oil not from a tube of paint, but from the sump of Hamilton’s F1 car. The oil was taken from Vodafone McLaren Mercedes’ 2008 F1 car – the vehicle that took Hamilton to the world championship last year.
