THIS NOS CAP HAS NEVER BEEN MOUNTED, AND COMES NEW IN THE STANT BOX. THIS CAP HAS THE SMC LOGO, THE S RIVET, AND ITS ORIGANAL GASKET. A TRUE NOS CAP NOT A RESTORED PIECE WITHOUT A BOX. THIS CAP WAS USED ON MANY CHEVY MODELS STARTING IN 1964 ON THE CHEVELLE, OF COURSE THIS WAS USED ON THE 1969 CAMARO. THIS CAP FOUND ITS WAY ON TO THE 1967-70 PONTIAC FIREBIRD AND THE 1965-69 GTO. THIS WAS THE CAP FOR ALL MODELS IN 1970 WITHOUT E.E.C. OR E.E.S.. A LIST OF APPLICATIONS IS BELOW. THIS IS 100% ASSEMBLY LINE CORRECT AND WILL HELP TO ENSURE PROPER FIT AND FINISH. THIS CAP IS FAR SUPERIOR TO CURRENT REPRODUCTIONS AND IS OF COURSE BETTER THAN AN OVER RESTORED CAP IN EVERY WAY.
