Ralph Gilles, who is also CEO of the Dodge brand, said cars must be able to adapt to evolving technologies while remaining striking and pleasing to the eye. Smartphones, touch screens and colorful interfaces are all becoming common inside cars.

Mercedes-Benz starts voluntary recall of 2013 SL-class

Mercedes-Benz has initiated a voluntary recall for its 2013 SL-class due to an issue with the air-conditioning system. Under “worst-case condition” testing during a severe front impact, a rupture of the refrigerant line is possible, which could cause a fire in the engine compartment. According to the report from Mercedes Benz, the refrigerant does not ignite under normal conditions.

Honda's FCEV concept previewed ahead of LA show

Honda has announced its FCEV concept will be making its world debut at the upcoming Los Angeles auto show. The carmaker is remaining fairly tight-lipped about the concept, although it has released this artful render. Honda also says the FCEV concept previews a potential design direction for its next-generation fuel-cell electric vehicle (FCEV) launching in the U.S and Japan in 2015 and later in Europe.
