NOS Upper & Lower Radiator Hose Set. The upper radiator hose is for all 1971-72 Pontiac models with a V/8 engine (Except Ventura II). According to the 1972 Pontiac parts catalog, the lower radiator hose is for 1970-72 Firebirds with a V/8 engine, or 1972 GTOs & LeMans with a V/8 engine. The later print date parts catalogs list the lower hose as fitting 1971 GTOs & LeMans with a V/8 engine. I don’t know for sure if 1971 GTOs & LeMans used the S-curved lower radiator hose, or the one curve hose like used on 1968-70 GTOs & LeMans. I don’t have any assembly manuals to confirm this.

Someone bought these hoses from Year One back when Year One bought them from GM to resell. They are not some modern day restamped hoses. The Year One stickers are dated 1995, and the hoses where manufactured in 1993 & 1994 based on the dated ink markings.

Price listed is if sold here; contact me for other options if interested.

Watch 'The Million Dollar Mustang' part one: Shelby GT350 R

Thu, 24 Apr 2014

“The Million Dollar Mustang” is not about how much these great cars go for at auctions in today's heady times, but about what made them worth so much in the first place. Nearly five years in the making, the documentary starts out talking about the Ford Mustang in general, how they sold 22,000 of them on the first sales day and then sold a million of them in the first two years and things like that -- the notion that the Mustang was a revolution in American car design and in the American consciousness. Then it starts to narrow its focus more and pretty soon the bulk of the piece is all about the Shelby GT350 R.

On Monday, the automaker uploaded a video of the upcoming vehicle to celebrate 100,000 Facebook likes on its German social-networking page. The video shows the Quattro whipping and gripping through a forest/mountain stage.
