Up for sale is a new old stock heater switch that fits 73-77 fullsize Ford cars. The Ford catalog says it fits cars with an internal heater. In the original box and super nice. D3AZ-18578-D Please read before bidding... All of the reproduction parts I sell are 1st quality and I DO NOT deal with 2nds or blemished parts. New old stock parts are described to the very best of my ability and if there are any flaws they will be pointed out in the description and most times in the pictures. Rhys Millen loses brakes, takes second place at Pikes Peak
Thu, 30 Jun 2011Rhys Millen, nephew of parts guru Steve Millen, didn't break Nobuhiro Tajima's world record at the 89th Pikes Peak International Hill Climb--Tajima did that himself. But Rhys Millen did clock a fast second-place run up the 12.42-mile course with a time of 10 minutes, 9.242 seconds in a prepped Hyundai Genesis PM580. That time was made even more impressive by the fact that Millen lost brake power in the last few miles before reaching the peak.

Contest: Volkswagen Slipstream wins 2007 LA Design Challenge
Fri, 07 Dec 2007Volkswagen's Slipstream concept has won the fourth annual Design Challenge competition, part of the Design Los Angeles automobile designer's conference. The award was presented during the second press day of the 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show. The theme of this year's competition, RoboCar of 2057, asked eight automotive design studios in California to form their vision of the future by depicting a vehicle that incorporates artificial intelligence engineered to make life easier and more attractive to consumers 50 years from now. Designers entered two-dimensional renderings and concept descriptions predicting how the rapidly advancing field of artificial intelligence will integrate into the automobile to make life safer, more practical and attractive, and the entries were judged by multi-discipline design professionals who selected the winner based on its originality of creative concept, integration of robotics and level of adaptation to a variety of environmental conditions and consumer needs.
