NOS 1973 78 Ford Mustang Torino Ranchero Cougar Thunderbird Fuel Filter 351 460

This listing is for a NOS fuel filter assembly for the following vehicles: 1973 Mustang and 1973 and 1974, Torino, Ranchero, and Montego with the 351 4 barrel carb, 1975 1976 1977 and 1978 Ford and Mercury full-size with 460 engine, and 1975 and 1976 Torino, Ranchero, Cougar, and Thunderbird with the 460. Part number D3OZ-9155-A (Motorcraft FG-19-B). Filter is screw in type with engineering number stamped on it (D3OE-9155-AA). Includes two (2) squeeze type clamps and one (1) D1ZZ-9229-A gasket. No hose with this as it was to be supplied by bulk stock. Box is tattered. Go ORIGINAL Ford!! If you need a replacement or an extra, here it is.

I am currently listing many small, hard to find, NOS Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury parts. I do not have EVERY parts book Ford put out, but I do have most and will make every attempt to accurately describe the item, it's application(s), and the years it was in service.

All my listings are for NOS items unless otherwise specified in the item description. Please keep in mind that while these are NOS parts manufactured by or for Ford, there may be something that is unforeseen in quality or present due to storage, such as discoloration, shelf and box rubs, light scuffing, residues, etc. Most of these parts have been sitting on a dealership shelf and are between 20 and 50 years old. I don't sell junk, broken, or obviously unusable parts. Those are for the trash. If a part is missing, or needs some attention due to chrome spotting, shelf grime, or surface rust, I will note it. These items are often one of a kind and obsolete from Ford. As such, all items are sold as is. Also, it's hard for me to visualize where on a car or truck each and every part may go since I list thousands of different parts from 1932 grill trim to the seat back bushings on a 1992 F-250. The buyer will have to rely on either shop experience, knowledge of their car or truck, and a visual comparison with the photo(s) in conjunction with what I have described, to make a determination as to exact fit or application as it pertains to their vehicle.

Please e-mail me if you have any questions. I am always glad to provide more photos if you feel they will help you make a good decision. I will have other NOS and used items up for sale periodically so bookmark my Seller's page and check back every few days. I also have a Store with hundreds of items you may find of use.

Thanks for looking and good luck!!

Japan Car: Designs for a Crowded Globe

Thu, 04 Dec 2008

The Science Museum in London, UK is hosting the Japan Car: Designs for the Crowed Globe exhibition, sponsored by seven Japanese automobile manufacturers. An exploration of the car as a 'mobile cell', the exhibition has been conceived by graphic designer Kenya Hara and architect Shigeru Ban to show how Japanese design reflects the 'soil and spirit' of Japan, depicted by concept cars and models specific to the Japanese market. Speaking to Car Design News, Shigeru Ban explained how the automobile was chosen as the central element to the exhibition because it is a reflection of Japanese culture and tradition.
