This is a factory spare out of a 1978 Chevy truck including vans and 2 wheel drive pickups of 10 and light duty 20 series. It has a 15 X6 1/2" GM Rally wheel with a 5" bolt circle. The tire is a BF Goodrich Silvertown Belted J78-15. Tire is perfect with no usage and no dry rot. You can still see the mold marks and tips on the tread and wheel shows no mounting and paint is spectacular with no rust on rim. This spare was taken out of the truck when new and stored in a cool dry place and never used. Is absolutely brand new. A great piece for a restored truck. More drivers skipping vital car servicing
Mon, 16 Sep 2013NEW RESEARCH has revealed that more than one in three motorists (39%) on our roads are thinking of skipping their next service. This means that for nearly 13 million motorists, the MOT test could be the only time their vehicle undergoes any kind of safety inspection. According to the survey carried out on behalf of KwikFit, one in ten (10%) UK motorists confessed they ‘never’ check their tyres and nearly one in seven (15%) admit they are currently experiencing a problem with their brakes but are not actively looking to repair it.
