Large Size (3¼") Compass Bezel
Has A Ball Bearing-Set, Adjustable Rate/Roll Marker

The make and model of this vintage compass bezel eludes me.  Nevertheless, here it is. The unit has been bagged and stowed for about 30 years.

This is a high quality unit with a pilot-adjustable roll/rate marker (at least I think that's what it is), set in a ball-bearing mount. The ball-bearings (set in pairs), can be seen in the photos below (backside view).

This listing is for one bezel. The photo shows two so that the front and back can be displayed.

Hyundai Elantra Coupe

Wed, 08 Feb 2012

Hyundai is set to expand its Elantra range with the introduction of two new models, the GT hatchback – based on the European i30 – and the all-new Coupe, shown here. The Coupe continues Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture design language, this time applied to the Elantra's long and low proportions. At 4,539mm in length, 1,775mm wide, 1,435mm high and with a wheelbase of 2,700mm, the Coupe is 9mm longer and 216mm lower than the Elantra sedan.

Museum gives driving lessons in a Ford Model T

Mon, 30 Dec 2013

Ford Most learner drivers these days take their lessons in a bread-and-butter supermini such as a Vauxhall Corsa or, if they're lucky, a dual-control MINI. But one enterprising car museum in America is giving visitors the chance to drive one of the very earliest mass-production cars ever built: a Ford Model T. The Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan, has a short course offering drivers of any age the chance to learn how to drive this seminal motor car.

Aston Martin Rapide – first official image

Tue, 14 Apr 2009

First official image of the Aston Martin Rapide [ad#ad-1] The Aston Martin Rapide been coming for ever. But it’s getting closer (even though its not actually going to be on sale until 2010) and finally Aston Martin has released the first official image of the car, although there was a so-called official image (or rendering) of the Rapide a little while back. For some reason this story and the image were embargoed until tomorrow.
