This auction is for a GM speedo gear. It has 24 teeth and is for a 3.73 and 3.90 gear ratio. When you change your gear ratio it is important to get your speedo calibrated correctly. Remember that tire sizes play a part too. It is for a 8 tooth 1.76" drive gear. This gear fits chevy turbo 350 transmissions, powerglide 2 speeds, 60's to 70's manual trans including Saginaw and Muncie. Don't get a speeding ticket when you don't even know you are speeding! Fits the following:

  • 1967-1978 All GM cars with  powerglide, manual transmissions, including Saginaw and Muncie, and chevy  turbo 350s.
  • The package is not included in this auction.

BMW wins 2008 International Engine of the Year

It’s the engine’s second successive victory and BMW’s record-breaking fourth consecutive win. BMW has scooped the top award in six of the last ten years.

Record Breaker Roars Again

WEDNESDAY 29th January will go down in history as the day Sir Malcolm Campbell’s record breaking 350hp Sunbeam was fired up and heard in public for the first time in over 50 years. The historic event followed a complete rebuild by the National Motor Museum’s workshop team. As the brainchild of Sunbeam’s chief engineer and racing team manager, Louis Coatalen, the car was constructed during 1919 and early 1920 and power came from an aero engine, a type used on naval seaplanes.

Peugeot 207CC

Following the 207 Epure concept shown at the Paris Motor Show, Peugeot has revealed the production version, the 207CC - though without the concept's fuel-cell powertrain. Succeeding the popular 206CC launched in 2001, the 207CC obviously doesn't differ much from the show car, which was the first model touched by Co-Director Peugeot Design Jerome Gallix.   Replacing the fuel cell is a range of IC engines; two gas and one diesel.
