NOS never bolted on 429 NASCAR Holman-Moody casting C9AE9425G very rare magnesium and even rarer 4150 Holley carb style D-port spider intake manifold in excellent condition. Correct Holley list 4788 830 cfm double pumper with a race 4781 stamped 850 cfm base plate with mechanical progressive secondary linkage, with 4788 stamped metering plates and Lemans bowls; Holman-Moody air cleaner assembly with 4 New Fram filters, and one Purolator filter all correct for this application; D-port gasket pair, perfect for that concours restoration or other Ford vehicle. This is the Riverside set-up used on on Woods Brothers #21 in 1974 when carb restrictions were placed on the Boss 429 in NASCAR; I think David Pearson won that race!
This is a very rare example of Ford’s racing history in NASCAR in the hay day of racing. Of these, 42% opted to carry on behind the wheel rather than take a break, the survey of 2,000 adults by insurance company esure found. Carrying on while fatigued was worst among 18-34-year-old drivers, while Londoners were the ones most likely to continue when tired.

Tue, 02 Aug 2011This Jaguar XE is running a 3.0 litre diesel lump Earlier today we ran an update on the ongoing speculation on Jaguar’s small sports car, confirming that Jaguar will debut the Jaguar XE at Frankfurt in September. And now we can add to that by reporting that it WILL be getting the option of a 3.0 litre diesel lump when it goes on sale in 2012. We’ve speculated for some time that Jaguar will add the very good 3.0 litre TDV6 from the XJ and XF to the range of engines on the XK.
