This is a nice, slightly used NOS High Pressure Nitrous Oxide Filter, 1/4 NPT X -6 AN for Cheater & Pro series nitrous and fuel solenoids.   This type of fitting features an aircraft type stainless steel mesh filter element to keep contaminants from attacking the solenoid and plugging the jets.     All new NOS kits include a filter-----highly recommended by NOS.

Volvo is currently testing in-car sensors that can monitor driver alertness -- ones that can determine if the driver is becoming tired and inattentive. A number of simple systems that basically generate warnings after a certain period of nonstop driving are now available in cars. They take into account the average speed and time elapsed since the vehicle was started.

GM expands advanced-vehicle-technology center in California

General Motors unveiled a new technical center dedicated to the development, maintenance and testing of alternative-energy vehicles last week in Torrance, Calif. The company has had local digs for years but recently leased the building next to its existing Advanced Technology Center for an alternative-energy research facility. It now employs a dozen scientists, technicians and engineers to advance the electrification of GM vehicles.
