Nos 65-72 Gm Delco 4x10 Dash Speaker Camaro Gto Chevelle Firebird Gs 442 Nova on 2040-parts.com
Lee's Summit, Missouri, United States
New Old Stock 1965 - 1977 GM OEM AC Delco 4" X 10" inch 10 ohm front dash speaker. Using a 10 ohm speaker is critical to prevent damage to the electronics of Delco radios of the 60's and 70's. This speaker has never been installed or used before. It is in great condition. It has been stored in climate controlled, dark, pet free, and smoke free conditions. Our ohm meter verified 10 ohms at the wire connection terminals. That test also verified the electrical continuity of the speaker. File photos shown. Speaker has the correct "H" rectangular magnet to fit an original type mounting bracket. Discontinued and no longer available from GM. This was the speaker that you could get from GM in the late 90's until discontinued. We believe this speaker was purchased just after GM discontinued these. Another significant and valuable benefit, ACDelco speakers were made after the brand name change from Delco and they will always have less age on them -- and thus a longer expected lifespan -- than speakers made under the older Delco brand. Scarce and becomes even more scarce as time goes by. Ideal for restoration, preserving originality of your survivor car, to have as a spare, or an investment. May fit older El Camino CK Cheyenne GMC Sprint Skylark Gran Sport GS GSX Lemans GTO Judge Ram Air Trans AM Firebird Formula Camaro Z28 SS COPO Yenko Dana Berger Motion Nickey Cutlass W30 Chevelle Malibu Chevy II Nova Impala Caprice Bel Air. 409 302 327 350 396 402 427 454 L72 L78 L89 LT1 L34 LS3 LS5 LS6. According to another source, this speaker may also fit 65, 66, 67, 68, 69 Chevelle, El Camino, Caprice, Impala, Bel Air, Biscayne, 66, 67, 68, 69 Chevy II, Nova, & 68 - 72 Oldsmobile F-85. It may also have superseded Delco P/N 7293691 and/or 7299511. Listed for a lot of different models in the 65-72 range but please check for example, the speaker's shape, depth, and the wiring connection area to make sure this is the speaker you want for a classic car or truck.
