Suzuki announces trio of concepts for Tokyo

The Crosshiker compact three-door crossover is described as an alternative to the 2011 Regina/G70 concept. Along with a panoramic roof, Suzuki promises it will adopt a more exciting design tailored specifically for adults while keeping it playful.

Sun, 25 Apr 2010Part 2 of our review of the 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV6 Land Rover has had a thorough play with their range for 2010, a big part of which has been shoehorning in the latest lumps from Jaguar. The Range Rover Sport now comes with the 5.0 litre S/C engine from the XFR and the rather wheezy 2.7 litre diesel is swapped for the much livelier 3.0 litre from the XF. Not the 3.0 litre from the XF diesel S, mind you – that would have trampled all over the 3.6 TDV8 – but the slightly more pedestrian version with 242bhp.
Jaguar XFR – the Cat’s out of the bag
Sat, 10 Jan 2009The XFR is Jaguar’s answer to the barn-storming saloons from Mercedes, BMW and Audi, and if looks and spec (and the experience of driving the non-blown XF) are anything to go by, the new big Cat should get the cream. The XFR gets the new version of Jaguar’s AJV8 engine, which is a 5.0 litre supercharged lump, producing a whopping 510bhp, with the usual limited top speed of 155mph, and a 0-60 of around 4.5 seconds.
