You are purchasing a beautiful NOS (New Old Stock) 7 piece walnut burl wood dash console set for the Jaguar XJ6 XJ12 Series II and early III, LHD.

You will receive what is pictured: 2 ignition and light surrounds, 2 switch panels ( 1 LH 1 RH), radio surround, gear shift surround and console panel.

These pieces are beautiful walnut burl with a high gloss finish. They are thick and the edges are finished black gloss.(photo 6)

They are a set, all pieces are embossed in the wood on the back with number 9816.(photo 8).

Sergio Pininfarina died last night at his home in Turin. He was 85 years old. Born in Turin on 8 September 1926 to Pininfarina's founder Battista Farina, Sergio was instrumental in growing the company during his almost 50 years at the helm of the most famous Italian design house.

Land Rover has revealed a surprisingly comprehensive facelift for the Discovery range here at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show – and the firm has underlined the changes with some new badging for the Discovery range. Instead of having ‘LAND ROVER’ on the bonnet, the new Discovery has, well, ‘DISCOVERY’ lettering. That’s because Land Rover wants to make Discovery into its own brand, a bit like Range Rover: here at Frankfurt 2013, we’re seeing the first steps in this rebranding.
