The second generation of the Mazda6 doesn't stray far from the successful look of the outgoing model.  Though slightly longer, wider and taller than the model it replaces, its styling cues still clearly define the car as a 6. The Maff Muron Porsche Cayenne - a step too far! Gemballa do extreme versions of the Porsche Cayenne, like the Gemballa Tornado 750 GTS, which looks like a four-wheeled Darth Vader. But at least I sort of see the point of its extremes.

Cadillac may get future rear-drive hybrids

General Motors' two mode hybrid powertrain, used only in trucks, will migrate to rear-drive cars in the next generation, said Tom Stephens, GM's vice chairman of global product operations. Two likely candidates: Cadillacs, says consultant Jim Hall of 2953 Analytics in suburban Detroit. Last month, GM said it is developing an electric motor that is 25 percent smaller and 20 percent more powerful than the motor used in today's two mode hybrid full-sized trucks.
