You are bidding on a New Old Stock Genuine Amco Rear "Grille" Guard for 1970-1972 MG Midget cars. Amco called these grille guards to prevent confusion with bumper guards. They were designed to protect the rear of the car. The chrome is beautiful and has some cosmoline still on it, and it is mint. There are no instructions or hardware. Amco was the premier maker of sports car accessories in the 1960's through the 1980's. They made shift knobs, grille and rear bumper guards, and floor mats that were considered genuine British Leyland Accessories for MG, Triumph, Jaguar, Austin, and Land Rover, as well as Datsun (Nissan), Toyota, Porsche, VW, Sunbeam, Toyota, Honda, English Ford and American cars. The Amco part number is 5552. Why settle for less than NOS?

AMG-inspired Cigarette boat to appear at Miami boat show

Wed, 06 Feb 2013

Polish up those white loafers and pick up a ticket to Florida, 'cause the 2013 Miami International Boat Show is nearly here. With its aquatic focus, the marine expo is a welcome break from the long list of annual motor shows -- but that doesn't mean automakers won't play any possible angle to ensure they have a presence at the event. That's why Mercedes-Benz has once again teamed up with go-fast boat maker Cigarette to bring an AMG-inspired vessel to the show.

Mercedes-Benz A-Class concept

Wed, 13 Apr 2011

The A-Class concept from Mercedes-Benz is set to make its debut at both the Shanghai and New York auto shows later this month. A distinctively aggressive development over the outgoing model, the A-Class concept is said to draw on the 'defined edges and free interplay of surfaces' first demonstrated with the F800 Style. The taught muscularity of other Mercedes models is also translated onto the show car.
