Amco called these grille guards to prevent confusion with bumper guards. They were designed to protect the rear of the car. The chrome is beautiful and has some cosmoline still on it, and comes with the hardware and instructions. It is mint. Amco was the premier maker of sports car accessories in the 1960's through the 1980's. They made shift knobs, grille and rear bumper guards, and floor mats that were considered genuine British Leyland Accessories for MG, Triumph, Jaguar, Austin, and Land Rover, as well as Datsun (Nissan), Toyota, Porsche, VW, Sunbeam, Toyota, Honda, English Ford and American cars. Lingenfelter offers look at car collection

Car collector Ken Lingenfelter, cousin of the renowned NHRA racer John Lingenfelter, is opening his private garage--er, warehouse--to the public this Saturday. For $15, guests can see Ken Lingenfelter's collection of more than 150 vehicles, with proceeds going to the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology.
Volkswagen Group takes over BlackBerry's European R&D center

The center employs around 200 people who will transfer to the newly founded VW Group subsidiary, Volkswagen Infotainment GmbH. BlackBerry is in the midst of a global restructure, as it bids to move away from making smartphones and switch its business to software development.

The birthday edition cars get bespoke lightweight components from McLaren Special Operations (MSO) and extra accessories, as well as a hefty price bump. You'll pay £196,000 for a hard-top McLaren 50 12C, and £215,500 for the McLaren 50 12C Spider – a hefty £20,000 rise over the standard cars' price tags.
