This auction is for a new old stock, never been used Apollo magneto on off switch. It is made of diecast and fiber, and is in excellent condition. It has no key however. I am not sure if this was used on automobiles or tractors or both. The face plate measures approx. 1 7/8" in diameter, and the mounting holes measure approx. 1 1/2" center to center. Overall it measures approx. 2 3/8". Please see pictures and ask questions if you have them. Payment will be made by paypal. We describe our items as accurately as possible. Toyota files for 'Supra' trademark

Adding more grist to the new-Toyota-sports-car mill, the automaker has filed with the USPTO for a “Supra” trademark covering “Automobiles and structural parts thereof.” On one hand, it's routine for companies to protect their dormant trademarks; Toyota previously filed to protect the "Supra" mark back in 2010; that protection expired on January 27th of this year. The new filing was made on Feburary 10th, in the midst of the post-Detroit, FT-1 enthusiast froth. We can't help but hold out hope that there's a bit more weight behind this application than simple maintenance of the status quo.

The famous ‘Le Mans start’ Since the race’s inaugural meeting in 1923, tradition dictated a standing start. This later became known as a ‘Le Mans start’, and involved drivers lining their cars up along the pit wall in the order they qualified in. Racers would then have to stand on the opposite side of the track, and when the French Tricolor flag dropped the drivers would have to sprint to their cars, strap themselves in and begin racing.
