I am selling a really nice new old stock example of the correct factory tachometer drive gearbox that fits on the rear of the generator on Bugeye Sprites and the 948 engined squarebody Sprites and MG Midgets from 1958 to 1964.  These have not been made by Smiths Motor Accessories in many years and the current crop of 3rd World knock-offs leaves much to be desired.  The gearbox has all of the proper factory markings and is definitely show quality.  The box is shown for illustration only and is not included in the auction.  Good bidding!!

Check out my other items, you may just find that part you have been unable to find!

Check the pictures with the listing carefully and ask any questions BEFORE you bid, I'll be more than happy to answer them. Seller reserves the right to cancel this auction at any time for any reason.

Fri, 24 Jan 2014

New BMW M3 and M4 Configurator now live No customer has yet had the chance to drive the new BMW M4 (or its saloon sibling, the 2014 BMW M3) but that hasn’t stopped UK buyers clamouring to place an order. BMW UK has revealed that more than 200 UK customers have already placed and order for the new M Twins, with expectations that there will be almost 2000 sales in the first year (60/40 in favour of the M4 Coupe). But even though those first UK buyers for the M3 and M4 haven’t driven their new baby yet, they can now go online and play with the both the new M3 and M4 configurator to spec up their new toy just as they did with the dealer, but get a much better idea of what to expect.

New so-called 'stealth' speed cameras: don't panic

Mon, 03 Feb 2014

REX Speed cameras: rumours of their death have been greatly exaggerated. Two years ago we were reporting on the number of road safety partnerships switching off their speed cameras – now the Highways Agency has revealed a new system that will offer more cost-effective motorway monitoring. Though officially called Hadsec3 – Highways Agency digital enforcement camera system – the mainstream national press has already dubbed the new speed cameras ‘stealth cameras’, on the basis that they are small and grey, rather than bright yellow.
