Sun, 15 Jan 2012The MINI Cooper is being recalled over fires Following an investigation started in October, BMW in the US has issued a recall for 88,911 MINI Coopers built between 2007 and 2011. Back in October we reported that the MINI Cooper S was underĀ investigationĀ in the US after a spate of fires. ‘Spate’ may be a bit strong as, at that time, there had been a total of just 12 fires reported.
Prices set for the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque
Thu, 30 Jun 2011The 2012 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, the smallest vehicle in Land Rover's history, will carry a sticker price of $43,995 for the five-door model and $44,995 for the three-door model when they go on sale in the United States this fall. The prices include shipping charges. The Range Rover Evoque is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 240 hp.
Jaguar offers all-wheel drive - but not for UK
Thu, 16 Aug 2012Jaguar has confirmed four-wheel-drive models will join its range once again, for the first time since the AWD X-type was killed off back in 2009. The first 4wd Jaguars will be the XJ and XF ranges. They'll be petrol-powered only, and just in saloon form for now, but don't get too excited if you're a UK customer: Jaguar has no plans to bring the all-paw big cats over here any time soon.
