Up for sale is a new old stock, GM Cadillac hood ornament. It is in excellent, unused new old stock condition and is complete with the correct mounting hardware and original GM box! The GM part number is 3634185, please do your homework on the part number and your application. This is correct for 1977 Cadillac models, it will fit other years, 78, 79, but it is not correct for them. These are very hard to find, this was a short lived design by Cadillac. This is a genuine GM part ready for judging, not a reproduction! Get the right parts for your classic. Hybrid owners sue Ford over Fusion, C-Max mpg claims
Wed, 24 Apr 2013Pennsylvania car owners are suing Ford Motor Co., claiming that the 2013 Fusion hybrid and C-Max hybrid are not delivering on promised fuel-efficiency figures, according to a report from Bloomberg. Both hybrid models are advertised to return 47 mpg, but the owners say that number is inflated to seem more competitive among other midsize sedans, according to their court filing. The complaint says car owners who have submitted estimates to a fuel-economy tracking website averaged 38.5 mpg, a 10-mpg difference that can cost an additional $1,800 in fuel costs over five years, Bloomberg reports.
Ford engine plant builds number 10 million
Wed, 18 Feb 2009Ford's 90-degree, overhead-cam Modular V8 has covered a wide spectrum since it was introduced in 1991--powering luxury cars, SUVs, pickups and high-performance sports cars. A large number of those engines have come from a Ford plant in Romeo, Mich., which has now built its 10-millionth engine--a 4.6-liter V8 that is headed for a 2010 Mustang GT. The Romeo engine plant was converted from a tractor factory.
Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake Goodwood FoS debut
Mon, 28 May 2012The estate version of the Mercedes-Benz CLS – the Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake – will debut at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake – well, a concept CLS SB – bowed in at the Beijing Motor Show in 2010 and although we’ve seen it running around the roads, it’s seemed no closer to production. But it looks like Mercedes has now had long enough to play with the oxymoron that is a coupe estate and the CLS Shooting Brake will get its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed at the end of June.
