Up for sale is a new old stock, GM idle stop solenoid. It is in excellent, unused new old stock condition and is complete with the original box! The GM part number is 1498570, please do your homework on the part number and your application. This is correct for many Cadillac models from 1971-1974, with 500 or 472 engines. These are getting hard to find, especially in such nice, NOS condition. This is a genuine GM part ready for judging, not a reproduction! Get the right parts for your classic. Tue, 10 Jan 2012Vauxhall Mokka With the arrival of the Buick Encore, the Vauxhall Mokka (and Opel Mokka) have also been revealed ahead of their Geneva debut. We must confess, we’d expected the Vauxhall Mokka to be the Vauxhall Mocha. But it looks like GM in Europe have decided to go with the German spelling, so the Corsa SUV will arrive in the UK as the Vauxhall Mokka.

It’s already spawned a convertible 500, Abarth 500, 500L and the soon to arrive 500X (which will also spawn the new Jeep Renegade) and now it’s time for a bit of a minor upgrade and makeover for 2014. Headlining the new offerings for the 500 for 2014 is the arrival of the Fiat 500 CULT to top the range, taking the Lounge Spec and adding in stuff like new 16″ alloys, fixed glass sunroof, Blue&Me, Chrome detailing, rear parking sensors and leather interior.
UK buyers plugging into electric cars
Wed, 07 May 2014Renault New figures suggest UK motorists are charged up about electric vehicles (EVs), with a record number of zero-emission cars now on Britain’s roads. Figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) suggest there are more than 10,000 electric cars on the road today, with as many as 1,200 EVs sold in March alone. In the midst of an EV revolution Compare that to the lowly 270 that were sold during the same month in 2013 and it becomes hard to argue that we’re not in the midst of an EV revolution, especially when you combine the figures with the 10,200 hybrid cars sold so far in 2014, up by 45% on last year.
