NOS New Old Stock Michigan Cam Bearings 101CS STD

Another oldie but goodie - on box is Michigan Engine Bearings -  Camshaft Bearing Set  - 101CS STD Chrysler - Interchanges 1157M SH325S CBS96 PD9 2821. Positions 1 - 215CS; 2 - 360CS; 3 - 361CS; 4 - 362CS; 5 - 363CS.   Interchanges 1157M SH325S CBS96 PD9 2821. D.A.B. Industries Inc. Detroit, Michigan 48211.  Made in U.S.A. 4 of the bearings are wrapped and the other one is not - I unwrapped the package just enough to count to be sure they were all there.

SPECIAL NOTE: 101CS does not show up in my oldest book (1982). I had handwritten a note "101CS - when depleted use 852CS". The individual bearing names listed for 852CS are the same for positions 2-5. Position 1 is 648CS instead of 215CS. The Clevite Engine Bearing book dated 1984 shows SH325S as being superseded by SH875S so that's another way they all connect to each other. I am furnishing this information to help you determine if this is the right part for your application.

After listing this, found an older book and it does state "101CS When Depleted Use 852CS."

BMW 5-series GT gets a new six-cylinder mix

Mon, 24 May 2010

After a sluggish first few months for the 5-series GT crossover, BMW executives admit they may have missed the model mix. At launch, the 550 GT was available only with rear-wheel drive and a V-8 engine. That will change with the introduction of an all-wheel-drive model in June and a six-cylinder engine in the fall.

Four-wheel, two-wheel BMWs battle it out in 'The Chase'

Mon, 02 May 2011

A just-released Internet video pits two Akrapovic-tuned BMWs against one another to see which is faster--the two-door BMW M3 coupe or the BMW 1000 RR motorcycle. Starting at opposite sides of an unnamed street circuit, the winner takes 15 laps to overcome its "slower" opponent. See who wins the battle of the Bavarians in the video.
