This is a very nice one barrel Ford Autolite - Carter model YF carburetor. The tagged ID has AUTOLITE DOPF AD, and stamped 4979S. Original to the 1970 Galaxie Full size cars with a 240 6 cylinder, and I believe the F series trucks and Econoline. One source indicated the Mustang/some Maverick may have used the YF? Will fit the 1968-1971, and maybe 72 models using the YF model. This 1V carb is a nice carb, and it has decent coloring in my opinion. Some mild oxidation is present, and I didn't brush it off. I believe it is NOS, not a rebuilt - the tag is cherry. Please look at the photos and ask questions as needed. USPS USA is $13.00. International shipping is available, please contact me for the fee before bidding.

Mon, 06 Apr 2009

It’s based on the same driving principles as a skateboard. It looks like a phone booth, or perhaps a baby stroller. But despite the unconventional nature of this vehicle, General Motors says a two-seat, two-wheel ride called PUMA could be a solution to loosen congestion in crowded urban areas.

Second new London taxi of 2014 unveiled

Thu, 16 Jan 2014

LONDONERS had better prepare themselves for another new generation of taxi, just days after Nissan confirmed its own assault on the Black Cab market. The plug-in hybrid Fraser-Nash Range Extended Electric Metrocab is capable of more than 75mpg and less than 50g/km of CO2, and is expected to cost no more than a current Hackney carriage. The company says the vehicle could save cabbies £30 to £40 per day in running costs and can go longer between fill-ups.
