It is in excellent, unused new old stock condition. The GM part number is 5717845, please do your homework on the part number and your application. This is correct for many 1964-1972 Buick, Oldsmobile, Cadillac, Chevrolet and Pontiac models, this is NOT a rebuilt unit and there is no core charge! These are very hard to find. This is a genuine GM part ready for judging, not a reproduction! Get the right parts for your classic.
